Beate Duesterwald

Beate brings to Glass Onion a wealth of experience in the design and IT industries, both in Europe and Australia.  In 1988 she established her first design agency which developed exclusive fabrics and prints for major European designers.  After 8 years the business refocussed taking on a new direction in interactive services and 2 years later was acquired by a growing international online consulting firm.  Clients included; Allianz, Siemens Medical and L'Oreal.  These skills and contacts naturally led to her to business development roles.  Before migrating to Australia, Beate managed the digital division for J Walter Thompson in Europe and established business with Shell, Nestle and Pfizer to name a few.

With over 10 years experience in web development and online marketing Beate is committed to helping clients manage their increasingly complex online service requirements.

Beate holds a bachelors degree in design and communication and a certificate in e-Marketing from ADMA/Sydney.  Since migrating to Australia in 2002 and joining Glass Onion she has developed solid relationships with clients in both the private and public sectors; such as Rams Home Loans, Australian Health Management (ahm), Hillross (AMP), George Weston Foods, GlaxoSmithKline and a number of State and Federal Government Departments.

Beate believes that the increasingly fragmented and evolving online environment presents a major challenge for organisations.  Strategic web and online marketing can deliver targeted solutions and services that not only meet the audience's expectations but also generate return on investment for organisations.
